Camping de Agnietenberg is beautifully situated in a natural area at the edge of Zwolle. Our family campground is bordered on one side to the woods on the other side adjacent to the Agnietenplas and the OverijsselseVecht.
The forest area is situated on the Agnietenberg, a river dune which is dated from the ice age with lots of trees and beautiful forest paths, ideal for a lovely walk or as a playing area for children.
The Agnietenplas lies in the floodplains of the Overijsselse Vecht. It’s a big lake with a beautiful recreational beach, fish- and watersport possibilities. In the Agnietenplas anglers often catch zanders, carps and other kinds of fish. Definately worth to angle!

The city of Zwolle is one of the oldest Hanseatic cities. The cozy center invites you to a wonderful day of shopping, a drink on one of the sunny terraces or visit the theater. Bicycle rides on one of the many dikes in direction of the Hanseatic cities Hasselt and Kampen or to the beautiful Giethoorn complete the surroundings as a holiday destination.
In 2006 Zwolle was chosen as the greenest city in Europe. By deliberately and cautiously care for the greenery and nature at the campsite, you will imagine yourself in an oasis of tranquility. Yet it is just three kilometers from the center of Zwolle. This is why we have the slogan: “the green heart of Zwolle”.
